Associated Food Stores Takes Close Look At Energy Efficiency
Associated Food Stores is performing energy-efficiency audits at its member locations. It’s also retrofitting lighting at five AFS corporate-owned locations in Utah. The lighting upgrades at two Dan’s and three Macey’s locations are estimated to save AFS about 1.7 million kilowatt hours, equivalent to reducing more than 3 million pounds of CO2 emissions per year.
